Estate Planning & Administration Attorney If you have experience in estate planning, estate administration, and conservatorships, you may be an excellent addition to our growing law firm. We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with strong negotiation, organizational, and courtroom skills who can work full-time. As our attorney, you will:

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Handle estate administration matters, including probate proceedings.
• Draft pleadings and appear in court on estate and conservatorship cases.

This position requires a significant level of responsibility to ensure that estates are managed in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner and the best interests of their families. Some estate planning and courtroom experience is necessary. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply! Responsibilities:

• Confer with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process
• Provide clients with information about retirement plans, charitable contributions, and insurance choices
• Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
• Discuss plans with clients for distributing clients’ assets
• Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
• Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required
• Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association)
• Excellent communication skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
• Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
• Must have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years
