Job Summary

W e  are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support equipment maintenance operations with a strong focus on timely delivery, asset utilization, and operational efficiency. This role is essential in helping ensure that equipment is maintained in alignment with operational demand and organizational standards.

Job Description

• Execute assigned tasks as directed by the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, or Technician.
• Work under direct supervision of Maintenance Technicians or Supervisors to carry out support activities.
  
• Perform low-level, noninvasive maintenance tasks on equipment as required.
  
• Ensure all assigned equipment is maintained in accordance with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), relevant maintenance programs, and standard work procedures.
  
• Record key maintenance data including labor, materials, parts used, work orders, and maintenance durations within TLM business systems, maintaining strict transactional discipline.
  
• Comply with all maintenance standards and procedures defined within the division’s TLM framework.
  
• Actively participate in a continuous improvement culture to enhance asset utilization and reduce Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD).
  
• Support initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians through collaborative and proactive support.

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of equipment maintenance processes or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to work under direct supervision in a team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable using or learning computerized systems for maintenance tracking and data entry.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay rate

• $20 per hour and higher depending on experience
