Anticipated Salary Range: $89,769.00 - $130,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. Job Description Enlighten is seeking a motivated Junior Frontend Developer to join our team! We're looking for someone who is passionate about building intuitive applications that meet the needs of our users. Asking questions, failing fast, and writing maintainable code are at the center of what we do while building applications for a Data Lake. #Mid-Senior Level
Essential Job Responsibilities - Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications
- JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review
- Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences
- Help define and interact with REST based API’s
- Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support
- Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications - Security Clearance - Ability to obtain a Secret level U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. Will also consider a candidate with a current security clearance.
- At least 2 years of experience with front end software development/engineering with a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field; 0 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks (ie: Vue / React / Angular / Backbone) or similar demonstrated competency.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control software.
- Comfortable working on a *nix command line.
- Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly.
- Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
Preferred Requirements - Previous experience with a Data Lake/Data Warehouse is a plus.
- DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.
