Summary

C.A.R.E. Academy is seeking a loving, patient, and dependable Infant Teacher to join our dedicated team. The Infant Teacher plays a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where our youngest learners, ages 6 weeks to 12 months, can grow and thrive.

The ideal candidate understands the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with infants and their families, providing responsive care, and supporting each child's developmental milestones. The Infant Teacher will engage in intentional interactions, promote sensory and motor development, and create a warm, consistent environment that fosters security and exploration.

Duties

To succeed in this position you will need:

• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for infants
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach infants
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
• Track children's progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and psyche
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
